One of my sweet friends moved on Sunday…waaahhh! I’m really going to miss her! So, for a farewell gift, I decided to make her a Memory jar.
When thinking of an idea to give to my friend I knew that it had to be something meaningful and special. She is a genuine friend and someone who I would always look forward to hanging out with. I thought she would appreciate this jar because it would hold memories that she could go back and read again and again.
We had a farewell dinner for my friend and at the dinner, I brought markers and the girls filled out their favorite memories. We decorated the outside of the bags and wrote on the inside card and then put the bag and card back in the jar for my friend to read when she started to miss us.
She really loved the jar and I’m so glad!
To make this jar I used some Heidi Swapp Products and a Dear Lizzy Flair Button (links below).
I took a toothpick and rolled some washi tape to make the flower petals and hot glued a bead in the middle.
I used three punches-circular and scallop , (both by fiskars), and Flourish punch (by EK Success)
I hot glued everything onto the jar!
Thanks for joining me today for Tutorial Tuesday!
I hope you have a super fun day!

I didn’t realize those flowers were washi tape! For some reason, I haven’t gotten as “into” the washi tape trend as everyone else (now bakers twine is a different story) but that is a REALLY CUTE was to use it! How clever of you Jill!
This is such a great idea I just love it!!
