Today we went to a pumpkin farm (I’ll post pictures later). It was SUPER fun! They had every pumpkin variety imaginable! Therefore, I’m in the pumpkin mood! Do you like to carve pumpkins? I remember when we were little and my Dad would say, “Oh I have the best design this year for my pumpkin!” Then he would turn his pumpkin around and it would be the SAME EVERY YEAR! Argh…I would always hold out hope for a new design, but it never happened! ha! So, I thought I would round up some pumpkin carving ideas, so my Dad can get his thoughts together and maybe just maybe come up with a new design!

I love this collection. Thank you for sharing!
I actually do the Martha Stewart pumpkin on the hillside idea each year. I have a blast with the hubs drill bits and drill. In our old house, we would get hundreds of trick or teaters (I am serious, they bused in kids into our neighborhood) and I would go nuts decorating for Halloween. We always had friends over for the event and take turns sitting at the door passing out candy to the streams of kiddos. We would always have a “best pumpkin” contest and have everyone coming to the door judge and my Martha inspired pumpkins would always win! I still do the pumpkins, but we now live down a long cul-de-sac and no one ever comes down there. Oh well, still looks cute though!
Oh my stars! That is so cool you made the Martha pumpkin! Sounds like you had so much fun at your old house. Our house sat empty for several years before we bought it and at first no one would trick or treat at our house. Once they figured out we pass out regular size candy bars, we have gotten more kids:)!
