St. Patricks Day Lucky Charm Breakfast

Hello Friends! Yesterday I posted about the St. Patricks Day treat the leprechaun dropped off to us at our Matilda Jane Trunk Show. Today I am going to share another fun little St. Patricks Day breakfast treat that we had at the Trunk Show.

Lucky Charms in a Mason Jar with a Shamrock Spoon

Lucky Charms in a Mason Jar for St. Patricks Day

O.k….O.k….o.k…before you say it

…I know…it needs twine or jute or a ribbon..a tag of some sort…

….C’mon Jill!!! You are lacking something here! ha!

Let me explain….my original idea was going to be to put the cereal in a very nice Tiffany’s bowl, and let everyone scoop them out. Then I remembered I had a TON of mason jars left over from my son’s b-day party. So at 7:00am I ran downstairs in our basement and pulled them out! I still had a TON more to do before everyone arrived so I didn’t have time to tie ribbons or jute or twine around each one! So it was just one of those things. So what I want you to do is just imagine a cute ribbon and tag around the jar or better yet, you make one and leave me the link below;)

I used the same shamrocks as I used for the Rainbow Seed packets and cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo. I hot glued them to the top of wooden spoons…that I oddly enough got in the Cayman Islands from the Ritz Carlton…long story…ha!

So there you have it Lucky charms in a mason jar with a lucky spoon! The kids loved them!

Have you  made any St. Patricks treats?

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a super fun day!

  2. I love those wooden spoons! The decoration on them and the straws are awesome. Great idea.

  3. C.U.T.E with or without the twine. Great job…looks like so much fun. I wanna know the spoon story :-)

  4. I don’t mind that there isn’t a tag or ribbon, Jill (I mean, those kids won’t remember that there wasn’t a tag or ribbon, they’ll remember that there WAS a shamrock on their spoon!!)… Sometimes it’s just that little touch that makes it extra special :) I love these… Of course, since it’s Lucky Charm month at our house, I may be a bit biased!! ;)

Thanks so much for decorating your celebrations at the Decorate To Celebrate! Challenge Blog!
