Why is it that when something is tiny it makes it incredibly cute?!! Today I will be sharing these snow globe necklaces and I just think they are darling! We made these a couple years ago when the Disney Fairy movie came out, “Secret of the Wings”. My kids thought they had the “winter woods” in a bottle. So sweet.
Snow Globe Necklace
Salt with a pourer on top (I find this to be the easiest method because it helps like a funnel pour the salt into the jar
hot glue gun
necklace (found at Hobby Lobby)
jump ring (found at any craft stores that have jewelry..they are a little metal ring that connect the jar and necklace)
little fake tree (I found this one at JoAnn’s
Glass jars (I found these at Hobby Lobby
Step One: Pour Salt into jar about half way ( I recommend pouring over the sink;)
Step 2: Cut top of tree and stick in jar…this is where the toothpick will come in handy. I can help move the tree down and around.
Step 3: Attach jump ring to top of cork and to necklace using jewelry pliers or regular pliers
Step 4: Place hot glue around cork and stick in bottle
Step 5: Enjoy!! These also make great gifts for kids and are pretty cheap!!
I love this craft because it can be worn all winter long! I hope you enjoyed it! If you have any questions let me know below!
