Sharpie Marker Mug Art

Today I’m going to share these Sharpie Marker Mugs I made for some sweet family friends of ours. They just had their third child in January, and so I wanted to give them a little treat. I always think it’s fun to give a new baby a gift but also the big brother or sister needs to be remembered as well! So I made matching mugs for all three kids… ¬†(I did make a big sis mug too, but it was hard to fit it in this pic so it got cut out…you will see it when I reveal the breakfast basket I made for them in a later post)…..

This idea was inspired by Whipperberry

I put the children’s names on the other side of the mug……

To Make these Mugs

Buy plain mugs (I got mine from the Dollar Tree) and Write on them with a Sharpie Marker…if you make a mistake you can use nail polish remover to fix it….Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Once they are done baking they are dishwasher safe!

Have you made any gifts recently?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I hope to see you again soon!

Have a SUPER fun day!

I have this idea pinned and I am so happy to know someone who has done it and it really works! I am SOOOOOOO excited about this! When I saw this idea originally I thought it would be cool to have my kids make mugs for gifts for grandparents this year! NOW I AM ALL OVER THIS! I just saw cool coffee cups on sale at Cost Plus this week! Heading there now! {LOVE}! Can’t wait to see what you got cookin’ in your upcoming posts!

I was wondering if this would actually work or if it was a pinterest myth. Mystery solved. They look great!
