Spring is HEEERRREEEEE…well, it may not necessarily feel like it in this part of the country…ahem..snow last week, but we are spring-ifying inside our home! My daughter and I came up with a project to share with you that is fun to make, functional, and uses items you may already have on hand! These little guys are meant to be thrown into your garden or in the woods and sustain themselves with natures help.
How to make Seed Bombs
Step 1: Find newspaper, scrap paper, ads, etc.. and rip it up
Step 2: Put paper into blender (we used 3 sheets of paper)
Step 3: Add 1.5 cups of warm water approximately (you can adjust according to how much paper you put in).
Step 4. Let the paper rest in the water for 10 minutes. This helps soften the paper so when you blend it will make a nice pulp.
Step 5. After you let the paper and water rest for 10 minutes go ahead and blend to make a paper pulp.
Step 7. Squeeze the flour sack towel to get the excess water out
Step 8. Put the paper pulp into the silicone mold and sprinkle seeds on top
