I’m so excited to share this Scrapbook Page Display with you today. If you follow Every Day is an Occasion, you know, I am a recycler! Well, this display doesn’t disappoint. It too has been recycled and this time it’s from an old dresser door.
To Make this Board….
I started off with the old dresser door. I sanded it with a power sander, and then gave it two coats of white spray paint.
Then I embellished it with Washi Tape at the bottom, Dear Lizzy Stickers and Flair.
Then I added a clip to the top so I can hang the scrapbook pages I’ve made. the clip is actually mysteriously behind the bow….It’s really not a mystery, let’s be honest…I just hot glued the bow to the clip. You may notice the knobs behind the bow. I drilled those into the board and then later switched my design, so the bow luckily covers those up. I suppose I could take them out and fill with wood filler, but they kind of help give the bow shape.
The original idea behind this board was to hang scrapbook pages that I make. Then my 20 month old daughter started to get really into scribbling in a notebook and adding stickers to every picture, so I decided that this board is going to be a versatile board. A place where I can showcase her work along with mine…check out the picture she made below.
I thought it was very modern! ha! I’m very excited to continue to add our work to this sweet board that hangs in her room!
How do you display your kid’s work? Or how do you display your scrapbook pages? In a book or do you hang them out for everyone to see?
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I hope to see you again soon!
Have a Super fun day!
