Pumpkin Vase

Do you have a hard time throwing jars away like I do? I always feel like I can make a project with them! Hence, my Memory Jar…you can check out the post here if you missed it. Well, I came up with another project…a Pumpkin Vase!

This little pumpkin vase was fun to make.

While my kids were napping, I spray painted this jar. Then when they woke up they helped me punch out the face in vinyl with my EK Success pumpkin face punch…which I got at Hobby Lobby.

I L.O.V.E. this punch…highly recommend it!

We just put the face on and bam a jack-O-lantern face  on the jar…no yucky mess;)!

We cut some mums from our yard, put water in the jar, and took it to my mom’s house.

Now, I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this before, but my parents do live directly across the street from us!

Yes, just like, Everybody Loves Raymond.

Luckily, my parents aren’t like the mom and dad from Everybody Loves Raymond!

We love living across the street from them and my kids adore going to Nanie and Papa’s!

We feel very lucky to have them there!

…Look at my daughter trying to beat the door down!

She can barely wait for my mom to answer the door;)!

My mom of course loved the pumpkin vase and prominently displayed it in the living room for everyone to see,

so she could tell them her grandchildren brought that to her;)!

So, what fun Halloween crafts are you up to?

Come join us at our link party, Sunday {Fun}day!

My readers have the best projects!

I hope you’re having a Super day!

This is just adorable! I love doing projects with my kiddos. We may have to do something like this. I have to say how wonderful it is for you to have grandparents so close. The hub’s family all lives 6-8 hours away and my family lives in CO, us being in CA. It makes for lots of “family date” nights:-)

Jill, love it! What a great idea and awesome pics. I thought I was lucky to live a block away from my grandparents when i was growing up. Across the street – heaven!!
    Have a great night!
