Fun Interactive Valentine in a Bag

On Sunday we had our annual Valentine’s Day Party at my Nana’s. I decided to give fun Interactive Valentines this year. Take a look…

As you can see, I used chevron washi tape to decorate the mini bags. Just like my Valentine fireplace mantel decor (if you have no idea what I’m talking about you can check out my post to catch up), I took paper hearts and literally ran them through the sewing machine to make a strand. I used some stickers from the dollar section at Target on the bottom and then I wrote “pull” with a black thin sharpie.

When they pulled on the tab out popped a valentine greeting. I just taped the string on the inside of the bag. I showed them to my husband and he was hilarious because he said, “Oh, you should have put ‘gently’ pull because I almost ripped the valentine out completely!”

My kids are cookie monsters these days. They LOVE making cookies with their daddy. So, they made cookies, and then we placed them on this plate and put the card on top! Simple yet a fun valentine!
