Fun Butterfly Wreath

This wreath is currently hanging on our front door. I really really like how colorful it is! It is so bright and cheery for guests when they stop over. I posted this wreath about 2 years ago on my old blog, Jaihart, but I wanted to share it with all of you because it makes me smile. I think it is really quick and simple, yet my buddy Holly from Ribbons and Glue may disagree with me because it took her like 9 months to complete the one she made:) lol… The trick is not to get the wreath form too big. I think that is why it took her so long…It took me a nap time to complete mine. I think this wreath could be hung for spring or summer. What do think?

Spring or Summer Wreath by Every Day is an Occasion

Want to learn how to make this wreath?

Materials:

foam wreath form

Fun fur (green, I got mine from Hobby Lobby)

Butterflies (I got mine in a package from Michaels)

Ribbon for hanging wreath

Step 1:

Hot glue one end of the fun fur to the back of the wreath

Step 2:

Wrap Fun Fur around and around Wreath (you may need to hot glue here and there to help secure fun fur on wreath)

Step 3:

Cut string after you have your entire wreath covered with Fun Fur and hot glue.

Step 4:

Hot Glue butterflies on

Step 5:

Cut ribbon for hanging wreath

Step 6:

Enjoy!!
