Hello and welcome to our First Day of Spring Blog Hop!!!
We are so happy you have joined us!!!
I am kicking off the hop today with ….
Spring Pillows
If you follow my Facebook page you may remember me discussing my debacle of which new curtains to buy. What I didn’t share at the time was the reasoning behind getting new curtains…..Well, let’s just say that my almost 2 year old daughter got a hold of a marker and decided that our old curtains would be her canvas (Yes!!! I was secretly sooo happy! We really needed new ones). I washed them and dried them….Yep they shrunk!!! You guys know me…I couldn’t let all that good fabric go to waste, so I decided to make
Pillow Covers
Another great thing about her marking all over the curtains, not only did we get new curtains, but we now have 4 new pillow covers!!!! Each person in our family has a personal pillow now!! We each chose a color. Can you guess mine? The Silver Sparkly one;) I lucked out!!! I was the last to choose too!!!;)
To sew the pillows I actually used a tutorial that I have had pinned for a long time, envelope pillowcases!!! (Kelsie Ann thanks for inspiring me in your Pinterest March Challenge).
Then I used my Silhouette and cut the bunny shapes out in vinyl, which you can find here.
After I placed the vinyl on the Pillow cover, I used fabric paint to paint inside the vinyl stencil.
I let the paint dry and then I peeled the vinyl off and then ironed the paint to heat seal it.
Here are the four sweet bunnies in full view….
I have a sweet fan of her new pillow….
Thank you SOOO much for joining us on our First Day of Spring Blog Hop!!!!
Here is the line up just in case you get lost!!!

Ha…C.U.T.E! Love the story too. Any chance Lily may use some markers again on her new bunny pillow? She may want to add bunny eyes and a nose..lol. You’ve inspired me to sew something.
