Have you ever had a passion for something and then taken that passion to help others?

Well, my passion is crafting. I eat, breathe, and dream about crafting. This may not be your forte, but what about helping our community? Does that interest you?

Craft for a cause was born because of a small idea I had while making a vase. I wanted to help others by using my passion for crafting. But who would I help? How about people who are affected by the number one killer among Americans and yes those who live in our very own community today…. Those with cardiovascular disease. I wanted to help people with cardiovascular disease, but I also wanted the money we raised in our very own community to go back to our very own community. That’s when I got in contact with HeartReach Michiana. They believe that money raised locally should be used locally to fight heart disease. They are committed to that basic principle. They donate Automated External Defribrillators (AED’s) to local churches, schools, businesses, and even individuals. They are a non-profit charitable organization entirely funded through private contributions, which are tax deductible. More information www.heartreachmichiana.org

On January 19, 2013 from 9-11:00am there will be a Crafting event at Knollwood Country Club. I would be honored for you to attend this event. We will be putting these three craft kits together….

Conversation chocolate kisses, Mini Album with box, and Magnetic Board

Colors and patterns will vary. These craft kits are meant for you to be as creative as you would like. You will receive instructions with your craft kit along with your own craft instructor. Children can do these crafts with you.

There will be a silent auction, mystery crafts, and continental breakfast.

If you purchase tickets now, you get the Early Bird tickets which are $25.

After December 19, they go up to $30.

Children may attend (4 and under are free).

If you want to bring your child or a friend with you it will be $10 for their entrance fee.
