My kids love Chex Mix and Bugles. The other day a local grocery store had bags of each for $1, so I picked up a couple. On the way home I started to think about fun Christmas treats that my kids would like. This is what I came up with….
….Tiny Christmas Trees in Chex Mix! Isn’t it fun?
I also dipped some circle pretzels that come in the Chex Mix to make wreaths….
To make this Christmas Party Mix….I melted white Ghiradelli chocolate in the microwave, added green food coloring to the chocolate, dipped the Bugles into the chocolate, layed them on a piece of wax paper, and while the chocolate was still warm I put some sprinkles on. I added a snowflake to the top of the tree to finish it off. The sprinkles were purchased in the $1 section of Target. I put them in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes to harden them. Once the chocolate was completely hardened I added the Chex Mix to the Christmas Trees. Sweet and Salty! YUM YUM!
Have you made any holiday treats lately?
Have a SUPER fun day!
