The hit TV series Bachelor/Bachelorette always sucks me in! I watch it EVERY. Single. Monday….I actually think about it during the week and then get totally excited when Monday rolls around again! What about you? Do you watch it? Since I get so excited about the final rose episode I decided to invite a couple friends over to watch the episode with my mom and I…
We had some yummy food such as chicken kabobs, zucchini muffins, and my mom made these DELICIOUS mozarella balls and tomatoes with bruschetta and crackers and on the side….complete with a racecar bowl that she made! So crafty!
For the center of the table I used flowers I found in my yard along with the wire candle holder in the middle.
The first Bachelor Final Rose Finale Party was for Ben’s season ( I will have to post pics later, I literally wore an old bridesmaid dress, my friend wore a garden party dress, my mother in law wore a pretty dress too and the rest just thought I was joking when I emailed them and told them they could get all fancy and wear a prom dress…it was hysterical). This time the attire was “Come as whom you think Emily will pick”…… here are a few of the amazing outfits…
Yes, you are seeing this correctly…my friend taped cars to her shirt! LOVE IT!
My mom made this sign and attached it to the back of her shirt! Brilliant!
Yes, this is me in my “racer” jacket. Dressed as Arie. heehee!
The other two friends came late and I forgot to snap a picture. They both came dressed as Jef with whipped over hair and skinny jeans! AMAZING!
I really did think Emily would pick Arie, but I am so happy for Emily and Jef. They seem very happy.
SO CUTE!
Let’s cut to the chase…..What would any party be without a favor??? Really, it is just an excuse for me to make something…let’s be honest!
I was inspired by this post to put something in a can that you can pop open! I think that whole idea is SUPER fun!
So this is how I did it…
1. Get a can that has a lip on the bottom
2. Use a can opener to open the bottom of the can…not all the way though!
3. Take off the label and use it as a measuring device for the paper you want to cover over the can.
4. Decorate you can
5. Put candy or whatever you like inside…in my instance I put chocolate covered blueberries. Close the lid and hot glue around the opened edge with a glue gun.
6. Enjoy!
On the top, I couldn’t resist adding…..
“Who Will Get to POP the question to Emily?”
If you would like the recipe for the chocolate covered blueberries go here.
Thank you SOOO much for stopping by today!
I hope you come back and join me again and again!
