About Me

Hello and welcome to Every Day is an Occasion! So happy you are here!

Where in the world did you get the name EVERY DAY IS AN OCCASION, I often get asked. Well, I truly believe it! Yep, we must celebrate every single day….live life to the fullest. Does that mean sky diving every day or going on vacation all the time? Nope! It means to be a nice human, spend time with loved ones, forget about laziness… you can sleep when you’re dead as my grandpa says…lol…obviously you need sleep, but get up and get going is what I believe. Also, about 4 years ago, out of the blue, I had someone very close to me almost go up to heaven. Lucky for us, God spared their life. That day, 4 years ago was a very eye opening experience for me. I realized that life is precious and you must live it to the fullest EVERY SINGLE DAY. Since we do not know what tomorrow will bring, EVERY DAY IS AN OCCASION…so Let Us Celebrate!
There are many ways I like to Celebrate my days, playing with my kids, going out to dinner with my husband, chatting with friends, singing in the shower, dancing like no one is watching, and one of my favorite ways to spend my day is crafting. I believe that it is important to “share your love” with others.
My “love” is crafting. I love teaching busy moms how to create projects for their family quickly and cheaply, while making them look professional. People always say to me, “Oh I’m not creative or I’m all thumbs.” Being creative is all about being confident and trial and error. It also helps to use products that can help you make professional looking projects!
I have ALWAYS loved being creative, but I have NOT always been that great at it. Once I decided to forget about my projects being PERFECT and decided to embrace the imperfections, I started to become more confident in myself. At that point I decided I wanted to teach others to do the same…. forget about perfection and believe in yourself. I will teach you the quick and easy way to complete a project… because I always make all the errors first! lol!
By making something for someone you are showing them you love them.  On Every Day is an Occasion you will learn how to make projects quickly and professionally so you can share them with your loved ones Not only will you make someone else happy, but you will make yourself happy as well. Our world could use a little extra love, so join me in learning how to share your love and celebrate every day!
Smiles,
Jill

Hey, Jill. I have the exact same Christmas chest which I use for books, too. However, mine is really faded and needs to be replaced. Any idea where to buy them? Thanks!
